I am a high school/college senior and family photographer. I specialize in fresh, fun, vibrant, modern, classic outdoor photos. Please note that I do not shoot weddings or newborn-only sessions.
What is required to book a session?
A non-refundable $150 session fee and signed contract are required to book your session. Session fees are due within 5 days of booking to hold your date. SKP calendars book about 2 months in advance so please contact me to check availability. Travel fees are applied to locations outside of Catawba County.
Do you have a studio?
Nope. I am an on-location artist. I primarily shoot outdoors with Mother Nature's gorgeous light and backdrops. I can recommend a lot of really terrific places for your session.
Do you travel?
I will travel up to 1.5 hours away from Newton, NC. Travel fees will apply.
How many sessions do you hold per day?
Usually only one. You have my undivided time and attention on your session day.
What happens if it rains?
Mother Nature is a fickle lady, but we love her anyway. In the event of inclement weather, we may have to reschedule. We just have to play it by ear.
How many pictures are provided?
Although I may take quite a few photos, I will only show you the best of the best. Galleries generally include between 30-50 images. Any more than that is sheer overwhelm.
Are your photos retouched?
All SKP images are beautifully retouched at no additional cost to you. I do not remove braces, however.
Do you sell photographs on CD?
I do offer Collections which include digitals. The digitals are delivered via computer download. You can then transfer them to any type of storage device you choose.
Will you help me place my order?
Absolutely! I do in-home ordering sessions where I am right there to help you select the prints and products that are perfect just for you. :)
Why do your online images have a watermark band on them?
All my images are watermarked in order to protect both you and me from people who might use them for purposes other than what they are intended.
Is the box my order came in used?
Why yes it is! I just can't see throwing away a perfectly good, almost-new cardboard box. Besides, it's the box that YOUR order arrived in, so it's always the perfect size. :)
