I'm retiring! ... As of November 15, 2018 I will be closing Sandy Keys Photography.
Some of you know that I have been wrestling with this for quite some time now. And after much soul searching I have finally reached the conclusion that I’m ready to move on.
Sandy Keys Photography has been my life for over ten years now. Sometimes even bumping my family to the back burner. It has been the most wonderful experience imaginable and the hardest.
It makes my heart happy to know that I have provided so many of you with beautiful photos to cherish for a lifetime. To help tell your story for generations to come. It has been my greatest pleasure to do that for you.
But the photography business can be a brutal drain on the system. After ten years I’m tired. I’ve lost the joy I used to feel when I picked up my camera. Running the business has become something I’ve come to resent. It’s time to move on.
But please don’t worry. I am friends with so many amazing photographers in our area that I know I will leave you in good hands. These ladies (and some gents) are full of life and love of photography and will provide you with the gorgeous photos you desire.
So please don’t be sad. I know I’ll see you around …. In Target and Food Lion. And I’ll keep up with you on social media. Cause we’re friends now.
I feel that this is a new Season of Life for me. A time to slow down a bit. Time to renew and refresh my body, mind and soul. Spend more time with my family and revisit the things I love to do. I will also be spending a lot of time working with The Corner Table Soup Kitchen this year as a member of The Baker’s Dozen Women’s Society.
Just making the decision and getting the word out brings me so much relief and peace. I know it’s the right decision.
So thank you all from the bottom of my heart for always helping to make Sandy Keys Photography such a success. You mean the world to me.
